AccuShares Investment Management LLC (AccuShares) is an innovative financial services firm that develops financial technology which is designed to increase efficiency within the ETF marketplace – AccuShares also sponsors Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs).
Founded in 2011, AccuShares aims to offer investors direct access to indices in key alternative assets, which traditionally had been constrained by various market inefficiencies.
The AccuShares Technology
AccuShares Investment Management has received several patents and has several patents pending around the mechanics of exchange traded products. These patents detail a proprietary, paired class share (PCS) ETF structure and ETF 2.0sm which are technologies that add efficiency to the ETF marketplace by removing some of the structural limitations and interconnectedness of the traditional ETF structure. The AccuShares framework provides investors the ability to trade both Up and Down shares to take advantage of opportunities in both rising and falling markets. Its patented and patent pending technology seeks to democratize access to the financial markets utilizing a “direct-to-index” quantitative design with the aim to reduce overall expenses while also attempting to provide investors with a predictable cost of ownership and transparency in returns.
The innovative AccuShares Exchange Traded Fund “system” can be applied to almost any underlying index and is not subject to the limitations associated with the hedging of traditional ETF’s thereby exponentially expanding the universe of potential investments choices.
